Your Life and Your Health Part 5

Hi,

This is part 5 of your life and your health.

It all started with a quote that basically said that we breed bad habits in good times and develop good habits in bad times.

When the times are good we become complacent and don’t really pay attention to our health and our lives.  It is easy to ignore ourselves and others because we think things will always stay the same.

But, life doesn’t work that way.  Eventually, unless you are paying attention and taking charge of your life, things in your life deteriorate.

You might gain some weight because of bad eating habits.  You probably exercise less.  You don’t pay enough attention to your happiness.  You don’t pay enough attention to the loved ones in your life.

This lack of attention leads to the bad times.  Spend enough time in the bad times and you react.  You get mad and you make the decision to change.  To get back to the good times.

You institute a series of changes.  Sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t.  When they don’t the reason is usually because the bad times are really really bad or you try to make drastic changes.

As you have read here, drastic changes cause your body, mind and spirit to rebel.  Your essence likes things to stay the same, to run smoothly.  Any drastic changes set off a string of reactions designed to keep things the same.

My point is that changes can be made if you go about it the right way.  That is done by making small gradual changes.  These small changes add up over time.

Your body, mind and spirit do not over react.  They accept the changes because they are perceived as being so small and minor.

Yet, each small change adds up to big changes.  You might recognize that this process is used by the Japanese.  It is called Kaizen and is a very powerful force, whether used for the individual or a corporation.

Now the one problem is that sometimes you don’t know what changes to make.  That is where we left off in the last post.

You have to find out what changes to make.  Whether it is about your weight, your relationship or whatever.  You are the one that has to do the work.

If you don’t know exactly what to do you need to find out.  You can do this with research.  You can research on your own and hope you find the correct information.

You can also find an expert or experts to help guide you.  Again you have to find someone with the correct information.

In the area of health, diet and fitness there are zillions of so called experts.  99.99% of them are – to be politically correct – not able to help you with accurate information (to call it like it is – they are idiots).

I have already discussed some of the fake blogs and websites out there that are only designed to part you with your money and not provide any help whatsoever.

Some of the comments from you, the readers, have thanked me for the information I have been providing.  Some of you have asked to know more about who I am.

So in my next post I will get into who I am.

I will also be discussing how I might be able to help you in your quest to live an absolutely fantastic life and how to foster and maintain good habits in the good times.

Stay tuned and again thank you for all of your kind comments.
