Hi,

Last post we mentioned that most people want to lose body fat or lose weight. Some want to do both.

The problem is that most people do the same thing whether they want to lose body fat or lose weight or lose both.

That doesn’t work.

In order to lose weight pretty much all you have to do is create a calorie deficit. Now, it is not quite that easy, but that is the basic thing you have to do.

Of course, we all know that after a while just doing a calorie deficit won’t work.

And you also know that doing low intensity exercise doesn’t really help much either.

To lose body fat most people will just attempt the same thing as when they attempt to lose weight. And that definitely doesn’t work.

Those that are attempting to lose weight and fat also attempt just the calorie deficit and low intensity exercise – if they do any exercise at all.

The thing they are missing is getting their hormones in alignment.

As mentioned yesterday, hormones are the key to body fat loss. That is, hormones working together are the key to body fat loss.

In order to get your hormones in alignment, you need to eat right, exercise right, get enough rest, reduce stress and so on.

Hormones control what happens to you. And what you do affects your hormones.

You might think this is a Catch -22 situation and you would be right.

What you eat controls your hormones, when you eat controls your hormones, how hard you exercise controls your hormones, when you exercise controls your hormones, how much sleep you get controls your hormones. And the list goes on and on.

So now the questions are, how do you align your hormones and which ones do you have to worry about and at what times.

Before there wasn’t much research in this area and that is why the lose body fat or lose weight question didn’t really matter, because no one had an answer.

Fortunately, recent research shows there is a very definite correlation between what you do to affect your hormones and how your hormones then affect how much body fat you lose.

Next post we will look at the hormones involved and what they do individually. Then we will follow up with how they interact. And that will lead to how to align them so you are a true fat burning machine.
