When Jamie Eason enrolled in a kinesiology class in college, her goal was to learn how to lift weights properly. She enjoyed the way weight training challenged her physically. After the class was over her use of the gym waned. Looking for a career change she tried out for the Houston Texans cheerleader squad and made it. Needing to stay in shape for her new job got her back into the gym. However, after the season was over, so were her trips to the gym.

She watched her body lose its shapeliness and knew she had to regain control. She began working out like she enjoyed back in her college days. She did up to an hour of cardio each day and lifted as much weight as she felt she could handle.

After a month she was not impressed with her results so she hired a personal trainer and a nutritionist. After gaining control of her diet and learning to maintain it her body began to shape up to match her desires. She realized diet is a key element in any fitness program.

She has become a good example for women who tend to shy away from lifting weights. Many feel they will “bulk up” if they lift weights. Ms. Eason has shown women that lifting weights and sticking to a diet plan will yield desirable fitness outcomes. Eating properly and weight training will actually help women to shape their bodies.

Her accomplishments include titles such as: WBNF Figure Pro, WNSO Fitness Model Pro and World’s Fittest Model.
